I am completely obsessed with this place. The moment you walk up and see beautiful mural outside, you know you’re in for something special. It feels like stepping right out of Oakland and straight into a chic Parisian dream.
The decor is absolute perfection—it’s high-end and incredibly stylish but still feels super warm and fun. They nailed every single detail, from the stunning feathered chandeliers to the romantic indoor swing seat. And seriously, do yourself a favor and check out the disco bathroom. It’s legendary for a reason.
The wine list is amazing, and so is the hospitality. Our bartender spoke French and was an absolute gem. She was so warm and knowledgeable about the wine.
If you want incredible wine, an immaculate vibe, and stellar service, La Loulou is it. I’ll be back here on the regular!

Stepping into La Lou Lou is like stepping back in time in Paris! The decor, the service, the wine, the authentic Parisian food fare… I can go on forever! Definitely a favorite spot when visiting Oakland (and it has the *coolest* bathroom)!

This place rocks. Super cool amazingly fun atmosphere it’s like Alice in wonderland for whine enthusiasts. The patrons and the staff are amazing. The food looked great but we only went for wine. There’s a great selection of wine with a little bit of every type which is great. I think if a wine menu gets too large it becomes unintentional. I digg that there would be 2-5 options of every type that rotates.
Staff was friendly and didn’t over complicate suggests. I really suggest getting the 3 pair instead of a single pour. It’s such a great deal and the pours were healthy.

We shared a cheese and charcuterie board that was beautiful and yummy. They also had a jazz singer and saxophone player when we went that were awesome entertainment! But they did have someone going around with a huge camera and microphone filming the whole night which was a little weird cause we definitely didn’t want to be recorded and no one asked.
Their bathroom is seriously a must see. I didn’t take a picture but it’s the best bathroom I’ve EVER been in a restaurant you HAVE to see it. Great date night spot $75 for 2 people
