Really good stop for food and friendly faces! Easy parking which is hard to find in Cali. We had the carne tacos and hubby had carne burrito. Thank you for the hospitality and great food!!!

I was almost at my destination when I needed to find a restroom driving from LA. I’ve been in this place before but a different owner. Using the restroom meant buying something. I decided to get dinner. The beef soup was super good! The rice was so savory! I ordered another chicken plate and that too was so yummy! I’m coming back next week for more and it won’t be the last! Helen was so sweet too!

I’ve been meaning to try this place because I live very close and am very disappointed. Firstly they charged me $1 more for the plate than displayed. I ordered an enchilada plate and they think putting raw cheese in a tortilla is an enchilada, even when they remade my plate. The lady working didn’t seem to understand English and when I thought she was warming up the enchiladas she brought out tortillas wrapped in a different cold cheese. I’m sure their red sauce may not be spicy to others because I can’t handle spicy. To not have an enchilada sauce on enchiladas is disappointing. They said the green sauce was milder but it was actually more spicy. So glad I asked for the sauce on the side! I would definitely never return. The reviews said the beans were great but honestly Rosarita beans from a can taste better. Almost $18 for this is just absurd. They didn’t even put chips in the bag I had to ask for them.

What an amazing hole in the wall! The food is as authentic as it comes, the decor and interior is very cozy and comfortable, the food is absolutely delicious. They offer chips with beans while you browse the menu, the music is great and the vibes in the restaurant were good! I went for breakfast and will definitely be back. The beans were to die for, it truly tastes like food I ate growing up. Try the machaca and tlayudas 10/10 chefs kiss
The portions are pretty big, definitely food you can share. They have a few games to play while you wait or if you’re done eating like the claw machine game and coin slots. Please bring your friends and family, you won’t be disappointed

I felt uncomfortable with some of the sketchy individuals lingering near the coin machine and outside the front of the restaurant. The chile relleno wasn’t to my taste, and the chilaquiles were made with scrambled eggs rather than over-easy or sunny-side up, which was disappointing. However, I did enjoy the refried beans—they were a highlight of the meal.
