Terrific little restaurant serving authentic Japanese sushi and bowls. The staff is very friendly and they offer both indoor and patio seating.

I used to love this restaurant. Wanted to take my significant other to try it out and got terrible service. I’m not sure when they switched to ordering at the front instead of having servers, but now food takes incredibly long to reach the table. We were not served waters until 25 minutes in. We waited 48 minutes for two hand rolls. Which were good! But then we waited another 15 for our cut rolls, and one was completely wrong. Went back to the front to let the employee know we got the wrong roll, waited another 15 minutes and finally just asked for our money back for the incorrect item so we could leave. Felt like being held hostage. And the restaurant was not busy, not even a little.
Female employee tried to make it right by giving us a voucher for a free chicken bowl, but I don’t think we’ll be back. The atmosphere is fine, the food isn’t bad, but unless you have over 1.5 hr to wait for a roll… save your money.

I really enjoy coming here when I visit the Central Coast and stop by Los Osos to pick up firewood. I always order their vegan ramen and enjoy it. My partner loves the teriyaki bowl and this last trip I took another family member and he enjoyed his food too. We got complementary tea this last visit and there was a great deal going on at the time for a food special. I love the plants and outdoor seating. My only small complaint was the floor was sticky inside. It could of been a soda fell or another situation that happened before I got there but that is the only negative thing.

Went during happy hour (2-5pm) for the chicken katsu, and got the ramen and roll combo deal after date around Los Osos, our go-to ramen stop and if it’s the weekend, grab some pastries next door to Wayward Bakery~~
