I think the filling of their black and blue pie is decent, but I am surprised they used a pate brise. Brise is for savory. A sucre would require an additional sweet dough, but I think it would be better. I get the depression era connection to grandmother, but that doesn’t mean it’s a tastier choice for the customers.

Whenever we pass thru Willits! Kemmy’s Pies is an absolute Must Stop! Mini cherry and apple crumb pies! oh my, heaven!

We found this place by accident coming from Fort Bragg and I’m so happy we did. I think this might be the best pie I’ve ever bought. I wish I lived closer to get another.

There is so much meat in their savory pies. I have never found a better pot pie and I’ve lived in Europe. I definitely recommend their meat pies, and there’s a piano you can play inside!

We stopped in on a trip to Willits and were treated to the most delectable delights at Kemmy’s Pies!
I got a carrot cake (amazing) and pecan pie and we were each gifted a cherry tussy to sample as first time visitors to the cafe. The mini cherries pies were also really yummy. I haven’t tried the pecan pie yet bc of sugar overload but I know that it will be top notch too.
