Juan Valezquez of JV Floors was on list recommended by Alves Carpet in Arcata and the entire experience, from selecting discounted carpet remnants to installation in 4 rooms in 2.5 days by Juan & his crew was outstanding. Juan has a passion for doing right for his customers. He is the 3rd generation of carpet installers. Very professional and a fun kind of guy to boot! Thanks to Juan and to Serra at Alves for their patience and good service. Juan & his crew were able to move my heavy furniture out of the way, then back in place with no damage. Thanks all, the dog stained carpets are a thing of the past, my home is new again! Janet in Bayside

My wife and I are thrilled to share our experiences as a repeat customer of JV Floors, having worked with Juan and his team on two separate flooring projects in our home. Both times, we were genuinely impressed by their professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to listen to our ideas and he provided flooring advice that really helped us out.

Juan and his crew made the entire process comfortable, always greeting me with a friendly smile and answering every question with patience.

One of the standout aspects of working with JV Floors was their flexibility with design changes. At the last moment, we asked him to install floor trim throughout the house and Juan and his team adapted seamlessly, never making me feel like I was an inconvenience.

Their product recommendations were spot-on, helping me choose flooring that matched our style and offered great quality and value. I appreciated how they explained the options and made sure I felt confident in my choices.

Odor remediation was a concern for me during this project since the previous owner had dogs that peed in the carpets. Juan addressed it with practical solutions that completely resolved the issue. The results exceeded my expectations—our home not only looked beautiful but smelled fresh and clean.

The installation process was smooth and meticulous; their attention to detail was evident in everything from the precise seams to the custom trim work around tricky corners and doorways.

What really set JV Floors apart was their care for our home during installation. They took extra steps to protect the items in my house and kept the workspace tidy every day. The final presentation was flawless, with every trim and corner finished to perfection.

At the end of the project, they taped down paper to walk on in all the rooms. Throughout both projects, I felt confident that my home was in good hands.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with JV Floors and highly recommend them to any homeowner seeking quality flooring and a team that truly cares. Juan and his crew deliver exceptional results, and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

JV Floors installed new laminate flooring, baseboard, and carpet on the stairs on my home. My primary residence is about 6 hours drive away, so felt a little bit nervous, but Juan put me at ease with prompt communication and photo updates. He was incredibly professional and very detail oriented. When I did the final inspection, the home was not only clean, but all of the furniture and appliances that had to be moved to install the flooring had been moved back as it was. I highly recommend JV Floors.
