Terrible experience!
We ordered pineapple fried rice and it had strong smell of pork. House pad Thai lacked any salt/spice
As we couldn’t eat the fried rice, we tried to order another dish but they said the kitchen is closed. It would be nice to ask customers for a closing order

celebrated my son’s engagement to his wife-to-be by dining at Janya’s. All eight of us ordered different dishes, and all were served correctly, promptly, and were delicious! I usually order the spicy eggplant dish first whenever trying out an Asian restaurant, and I was delighted with Janya’s version. I’m now interested to come back for lunch during my next visit to Redding. Thank you to Janya and to all the staff who took such good care of our engagement celebration group!

Service is kind and helpful, atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is delicious. The lemongrass salad is phenomenal with chicken, shrimp, peanuts, coconut, purple onions, cabbage, carrots, lemongrass, and sweet & spicy sauce; light, healthy, a little spicy, and delicious.

Love this restaurant! We were pleasantly surprised to find such good Thai food in small town Redding. Definitely recommend trying if you are in the area or visiting. We ordered basil fried rice, panang curry and tea. Everything was very fresh, tasteful. Great, quick service.

I’ve been looking for authentic Thai food since I first moved to Redding and although I did come to Janya’s last of all Thai Restaurants there is in Redding… I must say I’ve been missing out, the food here is amazing and I’m so lucky to have finally tried their food, definitely on point as to what I’ve always had in the Bay Area as to authentic Thai food! I love spicy and they make spicy spicy haha but overall I’m definitely sticking to Janya only because they’ll never disappoint you with the flavors they give! I’m so thankful Janya Restaurant is in Redding! My go to for Thai food forsure! The restaurant inside is also very clean and the atmosphere is really nice!
