    Very Disappointing Experience
We waited more than an hour for our order, only to be told the cylinder was empty and they couldn’tn’tpare our food. The explanation was extremely unprofessional, and after waiting so long, we were forced to cancel the order.
Very poor service and communication. The restaurant should inform customers much earlier instead of making them wait for over an hour.

The food is bomb. I was shocked when I saw 2.3 stars then realized it was only 3 reviews with the usual suspects of “I came here 15min before close and they didn’t accommodate me me me me”. Get over your entitled self and just come back another day. You clearly want their food… Because it’s delicious. Also the staff was very accommodating so overall great experience.

Got there 15 minutes before closing. Stood at the counter for a couple minutes and a guy came out and asked “Can I help you?” I started telling him my order then was cut off and told “Kitchen is Closed” No apologies with a blank stare on his face… wow. I know it was near closing time but all other places STAY open until their advestised operating hours. Change your operating hours or stick to your posted times.

Came to eat here for the first time today and arrived around 8:28 PM. Music was playing, lights were on, open sign was lit up. Nobody greeted me, no acknowledgement other than “kitchen is closed.”
Somebody is still BBQ’ing outside as I write this review at 8:37 PM.

Really ugly experience and I don’t plan on coming back. No respect, no customer service. Just ugly behavior.

It’s clear why the grand opening of Silog House in Brentwood saw 90-minute lines. While the initial rush meant they sold out before I could get a taste, I returned a few weeks later for a pickup order to see if the hype was justified. Even with some minor inventory growing pains—they were out of the fried chicken skin today—the quality of the food proves this kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing.
The Pares Silog is a standout, anchored by beef that is both tender and deeply seasoned. The inclusion of chicharon bulaklak adds a fantastic, shatteringly crispy texture to the meal, while the lechon kawali hits that perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and succulent meat. The sisig also deserves a mention for its wonderful char taste, which provides a smoky depth that is hard to replicate.
Since this was a quick pickup, I can’t personally comment on the interior ambiance or the full dine-in service experience. However, the flavors speak for themselves. Having this level of authentic Filipino food locally in Brentwood is a massive win, and it’s officially my new go-to when the cravings hit.
