The restaurant is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is lovely, and if you sit outside, the view is spectacular. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The service is outstanding as well. Even the bread and butter are surprisingly delicious! We certainly had a great time there. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Highlands Ranch Resort while visiting Lassen National Volcanic Park, and it was just an outstanding experience all the way around. We stayed in the Meadows Edge cottage, which was beautifully appointed, clean, spacious and private (we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub too!). The breakfast provided as part of our stay offered multiple options that were filling and delicious. We would highly recommend Highlands Ranch Resort and would definitely stay again. Thanks to all for making our stay so wonderful!

It is rare to find a destination where every single detail is as unbelievable as it is here and has history behind it. If you are searching for a true sanctuary of peace and quiet, paired with breathtaking panoramic views, this is an absolute must-see.
From the moment we stepped onto the property, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel like we were part of the family rather than just visitors. The culinary experience was equally impressive; every dish was amazing, but I cannot recommend the Vol Au Vent — the puff pastry was so light and flaky it practically melted.
A massive congratulations to the Wilsey’s for what they have accomplished here. You truly nailed it!
