This really is a great family campground. We have been coming here for years. This is the first time ill be leaving a 4 star instead of 5 review. The bathrooms!!! Kept running out of toilet paper and needed cleaning. I told staff times there was no TP. There solutions is 1 roll of TP in each of the 6 stalls for the entire day. They have tp holders that hold 3 rolls each but instead of filling the holders the set 1 roll on top and called it a day. Disappointing to say the least. Do better! ****ALSO, the state of the FLAG OF THE UNTITED STATES is quite disgraceful! It should not be torn an tattered. Either replace it or take it down
Paid for a camping spot just so that we could take our grandkids fishing, on top of that fee we paid for a daily pass for each kid. The lady on the phone said they fully stocked the lake and that we were pretty much guaranteed fish. After five hours they got nothing the same three trout were swimming around in the lake. The grandkids were so disappointed.
When I called back, she told me that they were going to stock on Tuesday, although she had already said that they did stock it. It was not stocked ; if you’re gonna go and fish just be aware that the lake is not always stocked like the website says.
The campground was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and a place we would gladly recommend.
Love this place, bathrooms are clean, showers are hot. Great fishing pond and a designated swimming area for the kiddos. This was our third year here, and our next trip is next year is already booked.
This is a very nice campground with amenities that fit various needs from tent sites, a couple of cabins, RV sites with full hookups, etc. The scenery is beautiful year round with lots of green grass, trees, a swimming & fishing pond, & a pet walking trail that winds between Hat Creek & the large pond. Nice little store, clean bathrooms, etc. great place to relax.
