The reviews are all very good but walked away with disappointment! Ordered Eggplant Bertha and Garlic Naan. The Eggplant Bertha was ok with some minimal flavor. Nothing to rave about and nothing to complain. The Garlic Naan was very bad. First of all, it was not freshly made Naan but reheated Pita bread. It was flat and thick. There was no garlic flavor at all. Take a look at my photo. Paying $6 for a reheated Pita bread is not worth the money.
Vibe of the place is really good. You can see Mt Shastha in front of you if you sit on the patio
We got garlic naan which seemed like it was frozen one
The basmati rice was also not fresh (grains were hard so it seemed microwaved)
Saag paneer was pretty good actually.
Masala chai was really good
We had a delicious meal at Hari Om in Mount Shasta. It is open for about three and a half hours for dinner from 5-8:40pm Thurs-Mon, but the food is great.
While we were there nearly every table outside where we were sitting was full and turned over multiple times – a sign of a good restaurant.
The thali plates (~$24) were the perfect portions for one person and we also shared the samosa appetizer which was also good, but given the amount of food in the thali may not have been needed.
The mango and rose lassis are also notable and delicious.
I highly recommend a stop here, especially for vegetarians!
One and Only Indian restaurant we found close to Mossbrae falls. Food is delicious. Though it’s old building, staff maintained it well. Recommended to try this restaurant.
This place was the warmest welcome to Shasta. I could taste the magic and love in this food instantly, and the views of the mountain from the window are spectacular. The whole experience of dining here felt like a warm hug. Highly recommend!
