This is the new location of one of my favorite taquerias from San Mateo and Belmont, and I’m glad to see the same quality here.
The Mexican omelette with chorizo has been my favorite breakfast item for years. It is flavorful, filling, and always hits the spot. The chorizo, peppers, onions, tomato, and cheese work perfectly together, and avocado is a must-add. The hash browns are grilled just right with crispy browned edges, and I always get mine with sourdough toast on the side.
I also tried the fish burrito, and it was straight delicious. It was packed with rice, fresh tomato, cilantro, creamy sauce, and tender fish, all wrapped up perfectly. Great Mexican restaurant right off El Camino near Davey Glen. Highly recommend, especially for breakfast and burritos.
I have been coming to this place for years and when they were in the old location, I started to see that they were putting more beans and rice and less meat. When they moved to the new location, they upped the prices, and I thought the quality would be better. Very disappointed, I just had a burrito that had only beans a little bit of rice and a few spoons of meat. For $13. I’m very disappointed.
One of my favorite local Mexican restaurants now has a second location! I’ve been coming to Guadalajara for a few years now and happy to say that this location exceeded my expectations. They took over the old location of Victoria’s kitchen and now have a roomy interior as well as outdoor seating! I highly recommend checking out this location as it provides comfortable atmosphere with amazing food and service!
