Dr. Morarasu and his team (Patty, Vanessa, and Madeline, specifically) are fantastic! One of my canine teeth was reabsorbing so the only option was to have it extracted, and I was terrified. Fortunately, when I called to express my anxiety, Patty was able to reassure me and called in a prescription to make the appointment less stressful. We live in Humboldt (we had to drive 3 hours to get there), so Patty worked with me to get the prescription in time for the visit.
During the appointment, Dr. Morarasu was kind, straight-forward, and funny. He and his team explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable and supported. They even asked what kind of music I like and put on some jazz for me (I also wore headphones)! It was over faster than I thought it would be and it wasn’t as bad as I had imagined. My gums have been healing nicely (follow your after-surgery care instructions!), and my stitches will be out soon. They don’t accept my insurance (which is typical with Aetna), but they billed Aetna and accepted my HSA card and Care Credit for payment.
If you’re in need of anything related to extractions or implants, I would highly recommend Dr. Morarasu and his team! They will take care of you and guide you through the process, without making you feel dumb or silly. I’m genuinely grateful for everyone at Ukiah Periodontics!
