Oh my gosh, the cutest room with a hot tub on the patio to witness the gorgeously stunning ocean views. I wish my budget allowed me to come now often. This is one of my new favorite places, close to home. The sweet young man and woman who help care for this beautiful place were so kind and friendly. I could live their, indeed. It was so sweet to meet some delightful friends of the owner who shared they have been coming for years. I now know why. It’s a gem for those who appreciate smaller, peaceful places like this.

Spent 2 nights at this peaceful location for Valentine’s weekend. As a few reviews have noted, it’s a bit run down and we expected more for the price. Love that it’s dog friendly but disappointed that no pet friendly rooms had private hot tubs. The shared hot tub is really small so we had to wait to use it when it was occupied by other guests. The room itself was decent sized, had good shower pressure and a nice gas fireplace. But walls were thin and the laminated floor was beat up with multiple bumps and tears. The worst part was the wifi. It was dial up speed especially when the lodge was full. (We were in one of the rooms closest to the access point) Choose rooms 5-8 if you want to feel more secluded. We chose a room with “ocean views” but the view was actually a road and a park lot.

I was welcomed by Michael who has been very nice and proactive! He made my stay smooth and very enjoyable, being flexible with my arrival. He is the one you want to talk to! The location is perfect if you want to disconnect and reset. I spent an amazing afternoon in the jacuzzi facing the ocean, in a peaceful environment. The room was clean and cozy and I enjoyed having a real coffee in the morning before I left.
