Dr. Williams is who a doctor should be. I had severe asthma growing up, then anxiety/depression, and now weird leg edema issues to top it all off. My whole life going to see the various doctors I had has always been associated with thoughts of scary, anxious, castigation sessions by some whitecoat who barely seemed human (as they rarely treated me as human) looking down their noses at me and judging me from their educated stage of pretentiousness vs. my ignorance.
Dr. Williams is the first and only medical professional, including the many in past, that I actually LIKE. Where I live there is a primary care clinic about 10 minutes away; and independent primary care providers + more clinics about 30 minutes away. I happily drive the 45-60 minutes to him instead.
I know its in bad taste to attack other reviewers, but a few of the reviews that I read here are just so egregiously selfish that the authors border on comically egocentric. Doc was hospitalized for a few weeks for long-COVID and then recovered for a few weeks more in a nursing home. Just because he’s a doctor doesn’t means he’s immune to all illnesses. Just a general Karen PSA lol.
I have a rare medical condition and went to Dr. Williams for a reliable second opinion. Not only does he have the kindest staff and awesome bed side manner but he is also very straightforward, about your options, what he believes. Also, I felt I was in good hand’s because he has made sure to request all of the medical records needed to treat me.
I will continue to see Dr. Williams and will be using him for my family members too.
Horrible experience. Seeking a different doctor. He is, apparently ill, for which I’m sorry, but after cancelation of an appointment 2 weeks ago, to come to the rescheduled appointment after numerous confirmation reminders to find a note on the door stating the office is closed for a prolonged period is unacceptable. We should have received a call to cancel the already rescheduled appointment.
I recently had my first visit with Dr. Williams. He took an extensive personal and family health history and he made sure to address all of my questions. In addition to the labs I wanted ordered, Dr. Williams suggested some additional tests that I hadn’t considered. I felt seen and heard. My appointment wasn’t rushed which was nice. The entire team at Dr. Williams office was welcoming and professional.
