I cannot recommend Dr. Barry enough! She’s intelligent and kind and great at what she does. She’s able to explain to me in three different ways, what was going on and what I can do at home. I felt very confident in her abilities and the care I received.

I’ve been going to Downtown Oakland Dental for about a year and a half or two. Dr. Yu is the most wonderful dentist and I’ve really appreciated their hygienists as well. Dr. Yu takes a very educational and preventative approach. I had a dentist tell me I needed 8 fillings and a new crown and found Dr. Yu when I wanted a second opinion. She said I didn’t need any of that, and she was right. They are trustworthy, professional, and I all around recommend their business.

By far the best dental experience! The entire staff was polite and professional, and Dr. Yu, was incredible with her work on my routine cleaning. Very thorough and gentle. I travel for work so it’s nice to find places that make you feel like home. 10/10 stars!
