Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside was clean and beautiful. The young lady who took my order was enthusiastic and very friendly. The burger was delicious and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy and well salted. If you are driving through the area it is definitely worth a stop!

I ordered 2 Animal (doubles) burgers, a single and garlic fries. What I got was 2 double bacon cheeseburgers with bacon that was almost burned and the meat was overcooked as well. Lots of sloppy lettuce, 1 tiny tomato that was so thin I didn’t even taste it on my burger at all. Just enough sauce to keep the tomato on the bun. Over all it was a ridiculous looking burger. I didn’t even end up eating it. My husband’s burger had 2 small pickles and no onions at all. His bacon was also almost burned and the burger was overcooked as well. He didn’t end up eating it either. The other burger was decent looking but literally had cheese and a dab of ketchup. The garlic fries had grease dripping off of them. I am extremely disappointed with Dave’s Place and have a feeling that it is not going to be open for much longer if this is the service it sends out. Especially being that the prices are 3 times as much as Black Bear Diner. I get better food and service for 1/3 of the price there. And to top it off, when I went back to talk to them before they closed they were already gone with 10 minutes still to be open. Not very professional for an establishment like this.

The best mushroom swiss burger in the area. Their shredded lettuce makes it very unique.
