After getting married, my taxes became much more complicated. For the first 2 years we went to the same person my husband had been going to for years prior. My interactions with her were, well, not great. After meeting Keith Crossley,a CPA Partner at Cunningham, Malone & Morton in Eureka California, through a local business group, I knew I had to get my husband to meet with him. Luckily he was open to it. To my joy, after spending an hour meeting with Keith my husband was saying YES, we’d love for you to prepare our taxes. He gave us fair projections and talked through a bit of what we could be expecting our tax bill to look like, giving us a sense of peace. Just having that insight calmed some of our anxieties about tax season. Personally, I look forward to having a good experience for the 2026 tax season. We all could use some of that. Thank you Keith, for making my life significantly less taxing.

Didnt want to give it any stars. Maria is the worst. The firm has great fast response and information. Maria was great to start with and got me excited to get my project over with as I felt I finally found someone who could handle the work and I was going to get it resolved. However she ended up being very rude after a couple emails, of nothing but communication and eagerness to connect the dots with what was going on. She even went as far as cancelled my appointment for the following week. Maybe it was the way I worded the email asking her to make sure our appointment was with her because I had been working with her and I believe the secretary scheduled it with a different agent, or maybe Maria just didn’t read it right, but If you want to be treated as a client with professionalism and respect, go elsewhere, or they will put it on you and tell you that they want clients who have trust in them and noone at the office can assist you.
