We just finished eating and had the best experience. We wanted to escape the tourist area and chain restaurants. Somehow after randomly driving we found this cafe. Its big portion, home style cooking! Our server was the owner her husband is the chef, and she is so kind and so welcoming. Food was delicious. We are absolutely eating here again.
I saw a positive post online about City Grill and when I saw it offered ribeye steak for $30.99, I suggested we try it out. The meal turned out to be really good. The steak was a lean cut, but succulent and tender, the baked potato was garnished was loaded with green onions, onions and a side of sour cream, the accompanying veggies not overcooked.
The atmosphere is very humble. Cindy the owner is attentive and appreciative of her patrons.
The locals recommend the prawns or pasta. We’ll have to try those dishes next time.
City Grill is a to-go only restaurant. The food tasted OK. My order was a spaghetti and meatballs $14 and footlong sandwich $13. The spaghetti had a strong tomato taste served with garlic bread. The sandwich was a thin sandwich that tasted a like a supermarket sandwich. Perhaps I should have ate that sooner before the bread got moist. Service was excellent for a to-go only restaurant.

It was a nice sit down restaurant. Not so much since covid. Mostly take out. Some seating available. Mom and pop operational. Good food. Good people.
