Ordered pickup. Lady had attitude on the phone because I wanted to upgrade the rice on my special (offering to pay extra) but she demanded no substitutions. Doesn’t say that on the menu up okay whatever I accepted it. When I picked up the food I should have seen all the red flags. No one was in the restaurant. When I walked in further I found the woman sitting at a table with a guy (the cook?) sitting at a table like it was their home. Watching a show on their phone eating a bunch of food. The woman jumped up and cashed me out. I should have checked my order there because when I ordered I asked for the sweet and sour sauce from the chicken to be on the side because it keeps the chicken crispy. Got home and not only was the sauce not on the side but the chicken felt and tasted like it had been sitting in the sauce for days. The rice was spongy and gross. Took a bite of the egg roll and spit it out because it was just a bad flavor and texture. Couldn’t even finish the plates. Husband I immediately have stomach aches as I write this. Such a huge disappointment.
Clean place, friendly staff, and fast service. I love their egg fried rice, simple but delicious. Sweet and sour pork is great, crunchy, and saucy. The egg rolls I do not like, but that’s just me. The inside is kind of a mush. The egg flower soup is super basic but not bad. We had chicken wings as well and those were delicious! Overall it is good food.
Just started in on my plate [Picture is at home] when Google asked me how Chinatown Restaurant was. They were friendly, fast, and the price was good. The chicken and shrimp (kept separately) sweet and sour was crispy. The noodles were a bit greasy, but that’s typical of most places. Plenty of meat in the noodles too! I will definitely come back!
I am a picky eater, and I have got to say this was hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The waitress was very friendly and nice, and was giving us compliments. I overheard the people at the next table say “We should have ordered 1 meal for the 3 of us!!” The portions are large, the presentation of the food on the plate was eye appealing, and I will drive 30mins out of my way any day to order their fried cheese wontons and egg rolls. PLEASE NOTE, THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN AFTER I HAD ATE A LARGE PORTION OF THE FOOD
