1st time here ( mid July ) after hearing about it from Ridgecrest family! SO glad we went! Interesting drive through Inyokern, easy parking, easy to find! Great welcome by the manager and we were nicely asked where we’d rather sit ( different rooms & a patio). It was still 90 out so we took the very pretty & elegant inside. Excellent service! Delicious salads & fresh focaccia style bread & sauces. We got Rack of Lamb, Shrimp Fettuccine, & Linguini with Clams. All 3 of us were very impressed, quite full, and gave our meals a 5!!!!!! We’d mentioned it was Sheila’s 84th birthday and they brought a nice dessert & sang! Very nice! We had wine, and it was good. We Will be back! Server Antonio and bussers were extremely classy! Go, you will be happy!

This restaurant really went the extra mile for us. Our family was driving back from Mammoth, we needed lunch, and we didn’t want to leave our dog in the car because it was hot. The staff was very welcoming, and offered to seat us on the patio, which was lovely. They moved a table for us to a shaded area of grass, turned on a nearby water feature, and brought our dog a bowl of water.

The staff took our order and they brought it to our table in no time. Lunch was enjoyed by all. Definitely give Cactus & Flame a try if you’re in the area or passing through. They’re very nice and hospitable, and we will definitely be going back next time we’re nearby.
