I was driving from Half Moon Bay into the city in the morning and we made a stop here on the way and I must say what a cool spot to have breakfast! It’s a walk up and order kind of place and we sat outside where they bring your meal out when it’s ready. I had an omelette and shared some pancakes with my friend. The pancakes were delicious! We walked to the end of the road to take a look at the water and see the waves and the surfers. It was pretty cool as someone who was visiting the area for the first time. I would definitely go back here again, check it out if you’re visiting!

Entered this restaurant on the coast off highway 1, wasn’t expecting much. Nice vibe to the place, seems like the people here know each other (I’m visiting all the way from New York). For context, I’ve tried fish and chips from many restaurants across the US and other countries (especially the UK) as well. The fish and chips here are second only to the one I had at the Borough Market in the UK, and that’s saying a lot. If you come here (which I highly recommend), you NEED to order the fish and chips. The fish is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the fries (chips) are fried perfectly with a beautiful crunch. Please. Try it.

I came here and a weekday and there was a pretty decent line which speaks for itself. I was however a little disappointed by the service here. The staff wasn’t very friendly and just wanted to get the order done with. This spot is a place where you order and then find a seat. It was a bit hard to find an open seat for two. Overall though the chicken and waffles was good the omlette was kind of mid.

Breakers Breakfast in Pacifica is a solid, no-frills diner spot with consistently good food. The breakfast is especially strong—I had an omelet with bacon and mushrooms that was pretty damn good, and the hashbrowns were perfectly done. My dad ordered the huevos rancheros with chorizo and really enjoyed it as well.
The tuna melt is a standout here—definitely worth ordering. Salads, on the other hand, are just okay and probably not the reason to come.
One thing to know: you order at the counter and then grab your own table, which wasn’t super obvious on our first visit. Once you’re settled, though, the staff is quick about clearing tables and keeping things moving.
Drinks are solid—a Bloody Mary is a must, and the mimosa (fresh squeezed OJ with a dry prosecco) is good too. The location is great too, just near the ocean with a bit of a water view down the street. After eating take a stroll down the cove to see the ocean.
Overall, it’s a classic diner vibe—nothing fancy, just good, reliable breakfast and lunch done right.

If this was closer to our home, we would be here every weekend! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food portions are massive, and everything was delicious. I had the crab and avocado omelet, and it was packed with crab. It was so good. We also got the breakfast sandwich which had enough toppings to feed several people. Highly recommend!
