I’ve been going to BlueFin for a few weeks now on my lunch break, the ladies upfront are very polite. Today however, my sushi maki looked away it never has before. The seaweed that’s usually dark green is a pale-ashy green, if I didn’t know any better I think they served my expired sushi.
I hope not because the business I give them at least twice a week will be no more.

The atmosphere strikes a sophisticated balance—refined enough for a curated evening out, yet welcoming enough to feel like a neighborhood mainstay. The service is consistently attentive, moving with a professional rhythm that enhances the overall dining experience without ever feeling intrusive.
The Culinary Highlights
The menu offers a thoughtful dialogue between traditional sashimi and contemporary rolls:
* The Sashimi: The mixed sashimi platter was a revelation. Each cut possessed a pristine, “melt-in-your-mouth” texture that serves as a testament to the kitchen’s sourcing standards.
* The Rolls: The Bluefin Roll is an absolute standout, though it was the Spider Roll that truly anchored the meal. It remains a reliable classic here—perfectly executed with a satisfying crunch that never disappoints.
* The Bento Box: A well-composed and generous option, offering a balanced variety for those seeking a structured tasting of the kitchen’s capabilities.
A Note on the Uni
While the Uni was merely “serviceable” during this specific visit, it is worth noting that previous encounters with this delicacy at Bluefin have been transcendent—possessing that rich, buttery finish that defines world-class sea urchin. Even on an “off” day, the quality remains competitive.
The Verdict
Bluefin Sushi is, quite simply, a masterclass in consistency. In a region where great sushi is hard to come by, this establishment delivers fresh, vibrant flavors and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. It is a rare find that I can recommend without reservation.

Came in for my cousins birthday.
We had amazing appetizers. The sake was hot and the food was delicious! The service was incredible and they were so amazing with my daughter. She’s a wild child for sure but was tame last night haha. The service was incredible. The food delicious and my 5 year old loved the uni. Their supreme rolls are delicious and can feed two to three people depending on them. Pictured is the Sakura roll. A riceless roll with LOTS of fish and fish eggs! Definitely a new favorite!

I recently moved here from Vegas, and I was honestly worried I’d have to sacrifice my sushi cravings. I thought there was no way I could find sushi that compared to the high quality and fresh fish I was used to in Vegas (yes, even in the desert!). But Bluefin Sushi proved me wrong.
We tried the Orange Daisy roll, tempura udon, and the nigiri special combination. If you love salmon skin like I do, the Orange Daisy roll is a must-try—I’ve never seen a roll topped with such a generous amount of crispy salmon skin! The nigiri special combination is also an absolute standout. The chef’s unique toppings on each piece really brought out the fresh, vibrant flavors of the fish.
It was a bit chilly when we went, so we decided to share a soup, and I’m so glad we did—it was the perfect addition. The service was friendly, and the food? Simply the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. If you’re a sushi lover, you’ve got to check out Bluefin Sushi!
