Henry and Ivan did a fantastic job repairing our range hood. They had to make some adjustments to properly align the new screws, and they handled it with real care and precision. Both were professional, meticulous, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. Highly recommend them for any repair work!
We had Corneliu come twice to fix our GE fridge and he was awesome. He first came to observe the issue, there was a loud noise coming from the fridge sometimes and sadly he could not hear it happening when he was here. Still, he looked into what it could be and ordered the part.
He came again to install the part and he also helped us with a filter that was not working.
Tough issue in my opinion since the noise was not happening while he was here, but he was so great! Awesome approach, very professional, he obviously had a lot of understanding about the product to be able to troubleshoot and he was so nice on top of it.
Big Guys even called me to schedule this second appointment as soon as they had the part. Awesome and seamless experience!
I wish it was this easy with other companies too!
I am extremely disappointed with the reporting following a recent 4-hour service visit to my home. While the technician was polite, he required my 82-year old elderly father and me to perform the heavy labor of moving our stacked dryer so he could access the washer.
During the visit, he specifically inspected the dryer and gave us a verbal diagnosis regarding the lint trap and failure. However, he failed to include any of these dryer findings in the official report to Old Republic Home Protection. This “omission” has allowed the warranty company to delay my claim for over 45 days.
If you are a homeowner, be warned: what the tech tells you to your face may not be what they put in the report that determines your coverage. I am now stuck in a legal dispute because this company failed to provide a thorough and honest account of a 4-hour diagnostic visit.
I cannot say enough good things about Big Guys Appliance. Our cooktop had been acting up for a while, and when it finally stopped working properly we assumed it was going to be a huge headache (and probably very expensive). From the moment they arrived, the experience was incredible.
Their technician was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely thorough. Instead of a quick guess, they carefully diagnosed the problem and discovered that the cooktop actually had multiple issues. They took the time to explain everything clearly so we understood what was going on and what needed to be done.
Even more impressive — they were able to track down the necessary parts quickly and get everything repaired in a very timely manner. No long delays, no runaround, just honest and efficient service. And the price? Shockingly reasonable for the amount of work involved.
It’s rare these days to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, responsiveness, and fair pricing, but Big Guys Appliance absolutely delivered on all fronts. Our cooktop is working perfectly again, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free.
If you need appliance repair, stop searching and call Big Guys Appliance. They are the real deal. Highly, highly recommended!
These guys are super rude. If you have the option, do not give them your business.
My Miele refrigerator broke. I had a Miele technician come over to diagnose the issue. Fortunately, the broken part (the sealed system) is under warranty, but they have to use a 3rd party to do the repair. The only 3rd party that can do the job to honor the warranty is Big Guys Appliance. When they called me, they were curt, rude, and were going to take close to a month to get the repair done. There was an audio beep on the phone every few seconds that made it hard to have a conversation, and they said that’s because they’re recording the call and wouldn’t turn it off. They tried to charge me to have somebody come over to diagnose the issue again. When I tried to explain that Miele told me that it’s under warranty and I shouldn’t have to pay for parts or service, they hung up on me.
Update Nov 7, 2025:
Just a followup to my earlier review.
They called to leave a message, not to try to make things right, just to let me know that they were going to refuse service to me. Classy.
Update Nov. 9 2025
Confirming that it is a sealed system repair that is needed, which is still covered under the warranty.
