I have been going to Bianca’s since attending St.Mary’s College in 2001. The food is very very good and the portions are very generous. It took about 4 years of smiles and small talk until the owners became friendly with me and were not the rude people you read about in other reviews. Yes they are rude, especially the lady, however I can understand why. I have overheard some of the dumbest questions while waiting in line and I have seen people spend 20 minutes in line just to not be ready when it was their time to order. The owners have experienced that for decades and maybe their tolerance is just gone now. Time is money for small deli’s and not being prepared after 20 minutes of waiting is very irritating. That doesn’t excuse the owners attitudes because they should push through it and still provide a positive experience, but it does help me understand them a little more. At the end of the day people are going there for food not friendship, and the food is VERY good and fresh. The place could use a good scrub but I’ve never seen a single cockroach or rat in the 20 years I have been going there. You can spend $9 at Subway and get 80% bread and 20% ingredients or you can spend $9 at Bianca’s and get 70% ingredients and 30% bread. Heck, the portions are big enough so that a typical sandwich will last lunch and dinner.
This place is my favorite sandwich place in the world. The sandwiches are unreal, the bread is so fresh, and the quality all around is absolutely top tier. They have always been cash only, not sure why people are so pressed about that there is a Wells Fargo bank across the parking lot. It’s well worth the visit.
I never usually post a review but felt so disrespected I had to. I grew up eating here and it is always good. I went today and ordered and when I got to the register they said no credit cards only cash. I obviously had no cash. I listened to the lady and went to two local ATMs to get cash. They both did not work. I ended up getting Safeway for lunch and while walking to my car in the parking lot, I was yelled at by the lady at the counter who rang me up. She said why didn’t I get money to pay. I told her the ATMs failed and I had no cash. She yelled at me saying I lost her money.
In the future there should be clear signs in the windows if they are one of the few cash only businesses
I felt verbally harassed and felt terrible about this place after leaving.

Absolute BEST sandwich I’ve ever had. Whenever I’m in the area, I HAVE to stop by. Try your sandwich on the house baked sourdough too!
