The service man was rude and his tone when talking with me was less than respectful with statements like, “if I replace this and it cost $400 and that doesn’t fix the problem, how would that look?” Well sir, I think it would look like you did you due diligence for the customer. But as he stated, im not the customer the homeowners insurance is.
I requested a different company from my insurance provider when I need to have it looked at again.

I don’t know why this place does not have the best reviews. I had to make a claim on my home warranty & beacon appliance was assigned. I called them to schedule, they came next day, the guy was at my house for less than 5 minutes he knew what the problem was immediately . He ordered the part that week they called me to schedule to come & install the new control panel on my dishwasher. They had openings pretty much right away. He came and replaced the part in less than ten minutes and was out of my house. Not sure the comments about them being rude? He was down to business maybe because he wasn’t super chatty & didn’t sit and talk to me forever not sure if that is why people are saying that? he’s busy and has a full day of appointments all over I would imagine. I would recommend this place for sure and best part my dishwasher is working! :)))

My in-laws had an appointment to get their dryer checked because their dryer has not been drying properly. The technician, Wes Swarbrick, came out to check it out. He told my father-in-law that he was limited on time. First off, that is already telling us that he didn’t care to do the job. He complained that their laundry space was too “small” to thoroughly check. Yes, the space is a bit tight, but it is manageable to get behind to look at it. Apparently, he didn’t have the proper tools to do the job, and he said that they’re not allowed to go onto the roof (I understand for safety reasons), however, the dryer vent duct runs out and up through the roof in their house. So, isn’t that still part of the technicians job description? Their dryer makes a slight noise, but the technician said, “I can’t do anything about it unless the noise was too loud and your neighbors complained about it”. Honestly, the worst service ever. I’d give it ZERO stars if it allowed me. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place, especially with a technician with this type of an attitude! It shouldn’t be “luck” to get a good technician. Especially since he refused to run diagnostic tests on it for them. That’s just plain rude. My in-laws have had a previous problem with their washer and had an amazing technician that helped them (from a different company). This technician claimed to have worked in this job industry for over 20 years and overall complained about the exhaust pipe not ventilating from the wall straight outside (like most homes), but let’s keep in mind that the majority of homeowners don’t get to choose where those things are placed in their home nor how their homes are built.

Beacon was dispatched to fix my washing machine through my Home Warranty. You never know who or what you’ll get when they put you in a rotation for service providers. I was alerted that Beacon was dispatched and they would be in touch. The scheduler called me within 24 hours as promised and got me scheduled within 48 hours of making my initial claim. They gave me a 3 hour window of service time (not bad compared to some) & the technician called me before coming over. He got everything fixed same day and was very polite & friendly. Would definitely recommend.
