I had an amazing experience at Assign Dental! The entire team was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They worked quickly and efficiently without making me feel rushed, and they were incredibly accommodating with my schedule, which I really appreciated. As someone paying completely out of pocket without dental insurance, I also found their pricing to be very reasonable. Overall, it was such a great experience that I’ve already booked my teeth whitening appointment, and I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend them!

I think Dr. Hani and his staff are kind people with good intentions. I was recommended to this dentist by my co-worker who has always had a great experience with them, but they were not a good fit for me.

This review is not a complaint, it is meant to help those looking for a new dentist. I would recommend this office for those who have very minimal work they need done, and who prioritize in-network coverage and flexible hours. The dentist and his tech are kind and encouraging, and they have great hours with slots available for Saturdays and evenings. They are part of a chain, so they are in-network for various providers which makes the payment process ideal.

However, if you are someone with dental anxiety, someone who needs extensive work done, or just someone seeking a dentist who will partner with you for your needs and build a relationship with you- I do not recommend this dentist. This practice takes on as many clients as they can, and you can feel that in the level of service and attention to you as a patient.

I experienced rushed and at times rough care that badly triggered my dental anxiety, with appointments going longer than scheduled because the dentist was working on another patient simultaneously. At one point I sat for over an hour after being numbed until they could get to me. They were apologetic, and I normally would not have minded, but many things began to add up.

I went in initially for a tooth that was painful and needed a root canal, I was told I would get a referral- but in the meantime they did 6 fillings which used up almost all of my insurance for the year; each appointment I was told I would get a referral for a root canal that never came. I waited for two months to get this tooth fixed and was in pain the entire time, before eventually deciding to move on.

When I found a new dentist and requested my x-rays, this dentist called me and expressed confusion because my treatment was finished as far as they knew. This shocked me, since they never treated me for what I came in for, had told me multiple times I would get referred for a root canal, and had talked to me about two other teeth that would need root canals as well based on my x-rays. They do not seem to keep good documentation on patients and their individual needs and treatment plans, so keep that in mind if you are someone who struggles with being your own advocate or who has a busy schedule- it will be up to you to follow up and remind them what you need done.

I have switched to a smaller office since and have had a phenomenal experience. Weigh your needs and what is most important to you when looking for a dentist, if you need personal and attentive care, it is worth it to look for a small out-of-network office. The out-of-network costs can be daunting, but they will work with you to create payment plans that work for your budget. If you just need some fillings or cleanings done and want to come in outside regular hours, this practice might be perfect for you.
