For a $35 plate, I expected much better quality and portion sizes. We’re visiting from Vancouver, BC, Canada, where a meal of this quality and quantity would typically cost around $22–28.

Unfortunately, everyone in our group was left with a burnt, charcoal-like aftertaste. The meats were dry, overcooked, and burnt, which really took away from the meal. Overall, the experience didn’t match the price, and we left disappointed.

We are a family of 7 on a road trip to Vegas.
I wouldn’t take my family here again if this is the only Mediterranean restaurant.

    Safe travels!

Solid Mediterranean restaurant with a great atmosphere. The bar has plenty of options, and there’s a secret bar room available by reservation — definitely worth booking. The Kids Kabob with chicken was delicious, no complaints there. One piece in the meat kabob plate was noticeably undercooked, which was disappointing. However, our server Sammy handled it perfectly — offered an immediate replacement without being asked twice, and the new kabob came out fresh and hot. That kind of service recovery says a lot about a place. I’m giving 5 stars not because everything was perfect, but because this restaurant clearly puts the guest experience first

Can’t speak on the food, but the speakeasy hidden in the back is fantastic. The drinks are strong, yet crafted such that the alcohol is not overpowering. Very well balanced and delicious. Will come back (and this time around try the food). Keep up the good work Matt (bartender).

Anthony’s Mediterranean Bar and Grill offers incredible Mediterranean cuisine along with a hidden speakeasy in the back of the restaurant — hands down the nicest I’ve seen in Northern California.

Everything about this place feels special. The food is delicious, the ambiance is outstanding, and it’s truly a gem for Redding.

I highly recommend visiting with friends and family. This is a local business worth supporting.

So I stopped in here looking for something different. A Lebanese man said the food was as good as his home country, so I decided to give it a try. I had the lamb Gyro. It was okay, but it did not really taste like lamb, but my server Jodie recommended the lamb meat in the Gyro vs. the Kabab. They even gave me a nice amount of their hummus to try with 5 wedges of flatbread. That was very good. This restaurant had the flavor of the Greek side of the Mediterranean vs. the Lebanese though. The place was almost empty, and the Baklava I had was also very good. My 16 year old did not care for the Baklava, so that was odd considering he likes honey.
