Anna’s Seafood is absolutely top notch. The seafood is exceptionally fresh, beautifully displayed, and clearly sourced with quality and sustainability in mind. The selection is impressive, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. This is the kind of market that makes you excited to cook seafood at home. One of the best seafood markets I have visited and well worth the trip to Petaluma.

I purchased red rock cod and clam chowder at the Sunday market. Before and after grilling the cod, it had a strong, off-putting smell, and the entire party agreed it was clearly spoiled — we had no choice but to discard it. The clam chowder also had an unusual sour taste and was thrown away.
I have enjoyed previous purchases here and have always appreciated the quality, but this was a costly and deeply disappointing experience. Given the price of fresh seafood, I hope this was an isolated incident and that they will be attentive to the fish they sell at the market.

Been coming to Anna’s on a biweekly basis for years now but in the future going to Santa Rosa seafood! Pre ordered >$200 of seafood for Xmas eve, got there at the appointed time to fine 40+ people in front of us (more behind us) BUT completely disorganized with only 1 staff and they have to spend >10 minutes/order finding it or having to fill them on the spot. MANY around us saying the same thing – NEVER AGAIN! In line over 1hr and only 10 people have received their order!!!! Could have driven to the bay, picked up the fish and been back home in less time.

Best Place to get your seafood in the Bay Area. You could find so many options. Try out Poke bowl Thursday for a special deal on a delicious bowl of Poke. Ready to go Sushi. The best and most fresh fish you’ll find anywhere. They take very good care of you each time I visit. Huge selection of Live Fish and Crabs, King Crab, Dungeness, Spiny Lobsters, I even saw beautiful flat fish from Spain called Turbot, live local Lingcod and Rockcod as well!!! Totally Amazed by Anna and Crew!!!
