Iconic restaurant close to many hiking trails. You can spot so many supercars and fancy bikes around the restaurant. We had to wait like 20 minutes to get seated as it was packed, but it was worth it. Our food was great, service was really good too and the environment couldn’t be better. We also really enjoyed the Hazy IPAs they had, we will definitely go back!

Great breakfast spot in the middle of the mountains! The drive to get there is beautiful, and the outdoor seating makes the whole experience even better. The food was really good, and the staff was friendly and fast, even with a long line. Definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Alice’s Restaurant in Woodside for lunch on our way back from Half Moon Bay, and it was a great choice!
The food was exactly what you want from classic American comfort food, delicious, hearty, and made with really good-quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable.
The only downside was the ordering process. You have to order and pay before you’re seated, which felt a bit unusual. I think the experience would be even better if they offered table-side ordering.
That said, the beautiful backyard seating more than made up for it. It has a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stop by again.
Highly recommended!

My friend and I stopped by this place in the late afternoon for a quick bite around 4 p.m., well past lunchtime. Since it was an in-between hour, some menu items were unavailable, which was understandable.
We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer, and I got a bowl of lentil soup since I wasn’t very hungry. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was decent — nothing extraordinary, but perfectly fine for a casual meal.
The place itself looked nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat on the patio, which was pleasant. Service was also okay — not particularly memorable, but not bad either.
Overall, it was a decent experience, and it’s a good spot to stop by if you’re in the area and looking for something casual.

IMHO you go to Alice’s to be outside in a garden on a sunny day surrounded by other people having a good time. The food is okay, it doesn’t win any brunch awards or wow me with deliciousness. We got a panini sandwich that was on plain wheat toast and the omelet was filling but the homemade biscuit was sooooo dryyyy. Service is very good, my coffee cup remained filled and plates were cleared as soon as we stopped. This place would be perfect for a drink and a snack after a long hike or bike ride. But there are probably better spots for a yummy breakfast. Btw you order at a register and then go find a table. Bathrooms are very clean!
