I got a cut on my foot possibly glass in it. I went to the ER around 10pm and didn’t leave until 4am. The staff pasted by my room every couple of minutes but no one stopped to check in. 2 hours of waiting I got an X-ray done but an hour later no one came in to tell me results. Thought the whole time no one came to disinfect the wound, just numbing cream which didn’t even numb my wound. By the last hour, I saw the doctor she put glue on my foot. I did not get any information Or instructions for treatment. It’s been two days and my foot has reopened and I have a major infection. I’m going to a different ER in Oakland cause I don’t trust Alameda ER anymore.

This is a smaller ER and the staff is amazing. Dr Schwimmer and nurse Dani were kind, thorough and warm when my partner was having some
really tough and unexplainable symptoms/pain. We were seen promptly and taken seriously. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

I went to this ER last night. I’m a nurse and I was very impressed with the care I received. The whole team was knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic. They treated me quickly and they were busy. I appreciate them so much.

Had an acute allergic reaction earlier tonight – the admitting staff was quick and helpful, the nurse and doctor were both very skilled and had a great bedside manner to boot. I won’t say that I want to go back here – the ER isn’t the sort of place you aim to go to – but I have faith I’ll be treated well if I wind up there again. A major thank you to all the medical professionals keeping people like me in working order. A lot of us wouldn’t be here without you.
