Came for the omakase and stayed for the uni ✨The sashimis were so fresh, the mini don with uni is very tasty. Definitely really fresh good quality pieces for good value. The owner is super sweet and nice, we had a great time here, definitely would come again!

Went there with my husband for Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu for Valentine’s day weekend though it’s still 15 course.

First let’s talk about the good stuff.
    1. The main ingredients are great quality. Specifically like uni and the wagu. They are definitely imported from Japan. One small caveat is the attention to detail aren’t that great .
The 4th course which was served in a waffle cone, the cone was soggy and not crunchy any more.
The wagyu course’s wagyu was good but it was served on a piece of bread which is dry and cold.
    2. Servers are very nice. They are very warm and tries their best to make us comfortable. But I’ll leave the rest in the negative part.

Here’s what I was quite disappointed during experience.
    1. Over Priced for Valentine’s Day – we were billed $600 for two people which means the price is $300 per person after tax for the course. We DID NOT order wine pairing. This is just for the omakase courses + tax + tips. This is seriously overpriced. Online says their origin price is only $150 per person, but I was surprised by the bill when they brought to us.
    2. Price was not communicated – there was no communication about the price of this meal while booking or on the menu. I am very sorry cause they are all nice people, but i genuinely felt being scammed.
    3. The dining environment and service wasn’t meeting fine dining expectations – the restaurant is sharing space with a Ramen place, so the dining environment and internal decors are what you would expect at a ramen place. The staff are very nice. They tried their best to serve us well. They felt like your next door neighbors, very nice but not as professional in introducing the food and serving.

I’d say at $300 per person price point I am expecting a better experience. I probably won’t come back again if there’s mi change.

This is an interesting place, primarily known for their omakase (I think), but we came for the tsukemen. The tsukemen was tasty and presented with a dipping sauce warmer set up. I gotta say the egg was perfectly cooked, but I don’t know if we really needed the bamboo shoots and mushrooms given the dipping setup.

The ambience is good and there is a unique water and condiment setup that makes it standout, although it also crowds the table a bit. Nevertheless, it’s unique and adds to the charm of the place.

Service was great and we chatted a lot with the lady who was covering our table. She gave us a lot of background on the work they did to get the current menu in place and tweaks they are planning going forward.

Overall, this place was a refreshing change of pace. Tsukemen is not that common, the ambience is different, and the service was super engaging. I will definitely go back to check on the evolving menu. Highly recommended.

This place is a fine-dining gem (without the inflated prices of similar establishments). From the warm welcome of Carol to Chef Robert’s bar-side interaction with the diners, the atmosphere was cosy and convivial, as if we were dining among friends and family. The dishes were creative and delicious, featuring quality, fresh ingredients that were not skimped on, all enhanced by the pretty tableware they were served in. While we enjoyed all the dishes, the standouts were the Abalone/Hokkaido Uni Chawanmushi and Sushi Mini Don. Based on personal tastes, we would have liked a bit more scallion in the A5 Wagyu Scallion Noodle, and a tad more smoke to the Fusion Sakura Masu Sahimi. Also suggest having a spoon to scoop up the Orange Crab goodness. Small but important detail that is much appreciated – hot tea was continuously topped up. A shout-out to Peter for the yummy chocolate-black sesame tart for my birthday. Thank you 808 Zone (and fellow diners) for a lovely evening. Wishing you continued success – we shall be sharing your address!

Pretty interesting place. Apparently family run. Service is great. The dishes are refreshing and interesting. Omakase has many items, priced at $150 per person. The sushi items were very good.
