We got the garlic knots two regular and two jalapeño delicious. Also got the square pizza with pepperoni and sausage delicious and also a cheese delicious pizza. I recommended if you have not gone here please try if you’re in Orinda we live in Antioch and we came to Orinda for the pizza

Really good pizza. Has actually gotten better since they first opened. Firm undercarriage, minimal flop. Excellent crust and sauce. Cheese and toppings have noticeably improved since first opening so not sure if they’ve done something different. Had a pre-made salad for the first time tonight (Caesar) and it was excellent. If I could suggest any improvements it would be the beers on tap offerings- only 3 I think- Pacifico is basically water and goes better with Mexican food, would delete. Upgrade the Pilsner to Trumer, Sierra Nevada Pils, or similar. Have a legit craft IPA like Pliny the Elder, and a good ale (Fathers, locally owned is excellent). Canyon club isn’t very good i’m sorry to say.

8 Moose Pizzeria has quickly become one of our favorite pizza spots. We love thin slice and good sauce (a must) and they deliver. It’s nice to have an alternative fromSlice House (hit and miss on quality) and Melo’s (always consistent).
The staff is friendly and great!! Highly recommended!!

I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical when I first saw a pizzeria moving into this corner spot–but wow, was I wrong! The pizza is absolutely delicious, the variety is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. My grandchildren love it here, and truth be told, I always grab a slice for myself too. The crust alone is out of this world!

Just ate here for the first time. Pizza was amazing, we usually don’t care for the crust but they have it dialed in. Service was above and beyond. Employees looked like they enjoyed work.
This place is here to stay.
