Bo and his crew serve coffee, tea, and food that you won’t find elsewhere in Eureka, Arcata, or for a couple hundred miles in any direction. I come in almost daily with my dog Mustard for our morning treats – my delicious cup of black coffee and him for a biscuit from Oliver or one of the other members of the friendly, kind staff. Witness serves Third Wave Coffee: top-quality beans (usually from Timeless or Push Pull) that are typically on the lighter side of the roast spectrum. As an omnivore who is not especially good at shopping and cooking fully plant-based meals, I appreciate how delicious their vegan food is. My kids and I love having a special breakfast here. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I love Witness! This place is a haven for those who do not eat or drink any animal products, as everything on the menu is vegan. That said, I am not a plant-based-only eater, yet I always find something to enjoy here, so I don’t feel excluded. The service is friendly and the staff are very knowledgeable. They’re happy to recommend something if you’re not sure what you’re looking for and I’ve never had a drink here that I didn’t like. Appreciate that there’s a kombucha option, as well, for those of us that want a little caffeine without having a coffee. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and curated without feeling corporate or pretentious. This is a great place worth stopping at whether it’s for lunch, passing through town while traveling, hosting a casual 1:1 meeting, or just in need of a delicious treat!

Am excellent menu of drink offerings! I am always impressed when coffee shops offer a winder variety of tea latte specials, as well as coffee specials. This shop completes for number 1 as the best I’ve seen in variety of offerings! We had a tea latte similar to a London Fog that was excellent. Their roasted coffee is also exceptional! I also had a latte with the rose cardimom syrup that was perfect! Not to overpowering or too sweet, it was just right. I would highly recommend a stop here!
