It’s free with a campsite pass! Otherwise payment is needed. During off season, expect to have the water to yourself aside from a few stragglers. Water is cold this time of year, but the sandbank was pleasant to walk on. Minimal parking so plan ahead when you come. It’s a large beach itself, so lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature
Good place to take a good break.

Made myself coffee at a picnic table.
Impressive redwoods that don’t have signs with numbers on them, it could. River access is easy.

Great river access! Nice to walk out to the Eel then go back into the forest. Highly recommend!
