All of the empanadas tried (regular beef, spicy beef, corn, curry, plum and bacon, and blueberry cobbler) were delicious, with the right amount of filling in each one. Highly recommend ordering ahead, as there is a 10-15 minute wait time. Otherwise, the patio is nice and simple to wait in.
This place is the cutest little place for Tapas! People are always friendly. The food is the best. Small bites if you typically eat small amounts of food. If you like a lot of food, this place offers variety.
You order your food and it is take out. They have outdoor seating but not dine in.
This place is a hidden gem! Because it’s attached to a gas station, they are under-rated. But they just lease the space there. Their food is excellent. They serve hand made Tapas style pastries in a variety of flavors, both with meat and vegetarian. Everything we tried was very good!! They are mostly savory, but have a few delicious sweet options also. We were happy to find out that they also sell the pastries frozen, so you can take them home and bake. They have patio seating if you’d like to eat there. We got to meet the owners, who were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend checking out this hidden treasure in Rohnert Park.
very interesting spot! it’s more of a pick up location than a dine in restaurant. it’s also right next to / connected(?) to a gas station. i’m not saying these things in a negative way — just an observation.
i had placed an order online and was coming from out of town (stockton) to pick up my empanadas. i called to let them know i was going to be late, and they were soooo incredibly kind. i believe it was the owner who answered my call, but they were so kind and told us to drive safe, etc., because it was a rainy day.
for the actual empanadas — fresh, juicy, flavorful, and packed! i ate these in a less than ideal situation (my partner and i ate these while driving). despite this, we were so impressed after each bite.
we ordered:
– traditional beef
– spicy beef
– steak and cheese
– buffalo chicken
– blueberry cobbler
we didn’t try the blueberry cobbler until a few hours later, and it was still so delicious.
if ever in the area again, we will DEFINITELY stop by. 🙂
