Fabulous place to grab some food and souvenirs and have a picnic, before or after wine tasting. Also able to grab a glass of wine vs doing a whole wine tasting. Staff is very friendly and the establishment is clean. We enjoyed sitting for abt an hour at the picnic tables and relaxing before continuing on with our day. Beautiful grounds. We will definitely return when we come to the area again.
Some staff was super helpful (person serving tastings, cheese and deli counter). Cashiers weren’t very helpful or directed people. People, myself included were unsure on start of the line, 4 lines, 2 lines….no one new and no one saw a line starts here sign nor were they assisting from one area. Flavor is a generalized for the public and would be more of a faster experience. This place is great for in and outs, quick food, and leave. Other places might have a personalized, flavor specific experience. The wine here us still great. We also had a charcuterie board and chocolate added.
We have visited V. Sattui Winery twice and each time it was a joy sitting under the oak & walnut trees embracing the beautiful vineyards. Today we had a fabulous wine tasting with Lucas, our wine consultant from Bordeaux, France. The wines he recommended for our taste were fabulous. We had a fresh charcuterie with delectable Italian meats, cheeses from across the globe, a to die for mix of nuts and olives and crackers that were toasted to perfection! We
bought a case of the red wine grown from grapes on Mount Veeder. Lucas made the day very memorable and his expert recommendations helped us make a great decision on the wine we chose to bring home to enjoy with family and friends. Cheers to Lucas and V. Sattui Winery. We will be back!
We really enjoyed our visit to V. Sattui Winery. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, making it a relaxing place to spend time. We were able to sample a few wines before selecting a bottle to take with us, which helped us find something we really liked.
We also spent time browsing the deli, which had a great selection of fresh sandwiches, cheeses, and snacks. After picking up a bottle of wine, we chose some sandwiches and snacks and enjoyed a picnic right on the grounds. It was a very enjoyable and easygoing experience that made for a perfect stop in wine country.
I recently came back from a 4-day stay in Napa with the family and this was the first winery we visited. They accept children and pets which is why we visited it first.
The entry to the winery is very cozy with a beautiful fountain, lots of greenery and the architecture is divine.
Our French server, Lucas, was hospitable, informative and friendly.
A third of our group of six bought sandwiches at the large marketplace and sat in the picnic area while the rest of us sat out back by the garden and ordered charcuterie board and wine-tasted. They later joined us to wine-taste.
Our French server was hospitable, informative and helpful. He explained the wine list in detail and told us the story behind the winery.
We bought a bottle of my favorite wine there, the 2024 Gamay Rouge.
