My husband and I have been having a very frustrating experience with the Santa Rosa location. For the past 3–4 weeks, we’ve been trying to purchase frozen SeaRock shrimp, but every time we go, they’re out of stock.

We’ve repeatedly asked employees when more would be available, and each time we’re given a specific day to come back. We make the trip, often first thing in the morning as recommended, only to find that the product still isn’t there. As small business owners, our time is valuable, and it’s incredibly frustrating to continuously make unnecessary trips based on inaccurate information.

The most disappointing part isn’t that the product is out of stock—it’s being given false or unreliable information. I believe better communication and more accurate updates would go a long way in preventing customer frustration and improving the overall experience.

Nice, clean store. Excellent selection and great prices. Parking lot can get busy. No membership required.

This bulk food store is so fun to go through and has a great selection of fresh, frozen, dairy, dry goods and cleaning supplies!

A great find and totally worth the planned trip: not just for party events or extended families. A lot of us love coffee drinks and frozen fruit/energy concoctions. Do your research; the list of ingredients is short. Get a powerful small blender, your nutrient and energy add-ins—and shop at US Foods CHEF’S STORE.
They have an AISLE of drink flavourings: Torani regular and sugar-free, DaVinci and Monin. The exact same mixers premium coffee chains use, cheaper than anyplace including online. Each bottle of Torani ≈ the cost of one medium frozen drink at a coffee chain. Less than $7! They sell the chocolate and caramel syrups too, in large and small containers. Bottled flavors are my primary purchase at US Foods, but I do recommend the bags of ladyfingers wrapped in stacks of 10 and big containers of mascarpone, in case you want to make a lot of tiramisu or trifle. There is a huge meat area, and much more dairy in a separate walk in as well as all sorts of paper, plastic and foil♻️
The cashiers are nice and the lines move quickly. They have enormous solid-shelf carts, but also divided boxes right at the end of the drink flavor aisle. Parking is plentiful. Note: this is a busy lot. Use caution backing up.

The CHEF’STORE is one of the best places around if you need meat in bulk at solid prices. From what I have seen, they seem to focus much more on beef, pork, and other bulk meat options, and I do not think they carry much chicken. Beyond meat, they also have a huge selection of restaurant supplies, pantry items, and bulk food products that make it a great place to shop whether you run a business or just want to stock up. You can tell this is the kind of place many of your favorite local restaurants shop for ingredients and supplies. If you like buying in quantity, saving money, and having access to more commercial-style options, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
