We had an amazing time at Trees of Mystery! It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend the day with our family. The forest is absolutely breathtaking, the atmosphere is relaxing, and every corner is perfect for taking beautiful photos.
We truly enjoyed every moment and left with nothing but wonderful memories. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with your family, I highly recommend visiting Trees of Mystery. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

This is a bit of a throwback to an era when roadside attractions (oddities) were part of the family road trip, like the world’s largest ball of string or the drive through trees.

The trail through the forest is pretty neat. There are various redwoods and sequoias that grow along the trail with placards explaing their history and unique biology. The trail can isn’t difficult for most and there are plenty of benches to rest along the way. It can be difficult for those not used to walking on inclined and uneven trails. Other than closing time, there’s no time limit to get through the trail.

The gift shop and museum are well appointed. If you’re looking for a souvenir and/or to learn about most of the native tribes and people, this place is for you.

This really isn’t and all day attraction. I think it’s best enjoyed early in the day, before most other tourist arrive. Ideally, right when the park opens is the best time to visit. Look, I like kids but there’s something about being able to enjoy the peace of the forest without the rambunctiousness of youngsters.

This gem is so out of the way for most travelers; you must really plan a visit! You must go once! The $30 adult entry is discounted $5 for veterans and active duty military. Entry provides you with all day access to expansive, meandering trails through towering Redwoods. It is mostly dog friendly, so we brought our chihuahua and toy fox terrier. We spent 2-3 hours here, rode a sky gondola, and walked an easy 2 miles.

The park is enjoyable for the family and people who enjoy curated nature. Displays provide educational facts about trees, like an outdoor museum. Even the Paul Bunyan carvings were entertaining and artfully done.

I would return if it were 4 hrs closer to home and if it wasn’t placed on such a remote location. Worth a visit!!!

The nature side of this experience was great. The walk itself was beautiful, peaceful, and definitely worth seeing. The scenery and trees were the best part by far.

My only real complaint was the customer service and lack of clear direction on where to buy tickets for the walk. It wasn’t 100% obvious where we were supposed to go, so we asked inside the store. The people working there came across as rude and short. Instead of turning around to actually face us and speak, they just turned their heads and gave quick answers. Not a single smile or welcoming attitude.

On top of that, the guy who charged us for Trees of Mystery accidentally charged us for an extra person. Thankfully, my wife was paying attention and caught it before we walked away.

Overall, the nature part was great. The people and customer service were not so great. I’d still recommend it for the scenery, but the staff experience definitely brought it down for us.

I sm from India & visited this place on 20/06/2026 along with my family. There is so many wonderful things to do here. There is the sky walk , interpretive trails, and the sky trail ride that takes you to the top of the mountain for a spectacular view of the area. To visit this place 3-4 is minimum required. The walk through the attraction is mostly uphill but offered seating areas to rest. If you are wheelchair-bound they have a shuttle that will take you to the sky Trail so you can still enjoy some of the attractions. It took us about an two to three hours to get through . It was really fun and we would go again. Really it was an amazing trip fir me and fir my family.
