We were referred by a local for a good burger. We were not disappointed. Katie welcomed us and walked us through the menu. We had a cheeseburger and onion rings. The place was busy but everyone was taking care of customers. Chris offered us a sample of the chili, it was really good! Chris walked me through the dessert case, and Carlos got us a slice of pie to go. What a great crew! Everyone was smiling and eager to serve.

This place wasn’t too far from our hotel and we were hungry after a long drive. Saw some delicious looking pastries and was planning for a solid lunch, but the male cashier simply ignored us. No acknowledgement. Nothing. He pretended to be busy with something else but as soon as another customer walked in the doorway, he proceeded to take their orders and acted like we’re not standing in front of his register. Hmm. So we moved to the other cashier next to him and she took our orders.
We didn’t walkout because our kid wanted to eat garlic fries. So rather than a full lunch, we stayed for the clam chowder and the fries.
Two stars earned for the delicious clam chowder. Forget the overpriced tasteless garlic fries. It was the smallest “large” size we’ve ever seen. Not worth it.
Because of the male cashier negative customer service experience, we went elsewhere for lunch and will not return to this place. Not even for the clam chowder.

Food was well done and tasted super good. I always like to see hot dogs in a menu when I visit a place for the first time. I also appreciate serving lunch and breakfast 24/7. Furthermore with no apparent drop in quality. The staff was super attentive and helpful and always ready to refill your coffee. Looking forward to coming back again (and again and again) the next time I am rolling down 101.

While visiting Humboldt College with my kid, we came here a couple time to eat breakfast, by far great place to eat breakfast. Open 24/7 so we also came a third time for dinner & we had their cheese burger, definitely great too. I’m not a cookie nor pie person, but their pies are off the hook! Highly recommend this place. Jorge provided great service to us.
