Extremely disappointing experience and easily enough to make sure I never come back.

I called this place eight times within the span of an hour trying to place a simple takeout order. Not once did anyone answer the phone.

I was driving back from a doctor’s appointment with my terminally ill father, who specifically wanted a burger from this restaurant. Why this particular place? I’m not sure—but it was what he wanted, so I kept trying. After eight unanswered calls, I finally drove to the bar/pub myself to place the order in person.

When I politely mentioned to the bartender/server that I had tried calling multiple times to place an order, her response was essentially a disgusted look followed by, “We take online orders too,” before walking away. No apology. No acknowledgment that perhaps eight unanswered calls in an hour might be a problem. Just attitude and complete indifference.

I didn’t bother asking for a manager or giving her a piece of my mind because, frankly, the interaction told me everything I needed to know about the level of customer service here.

I understand restaurants get busy. Phones get missed. But eight calls over an hour, followed by a dismissive attitude when a customer actually makes the effort to show up in person, is unacceptable.

Businesses don’t lose customers because of one missed phone call. They lose customers because employees make people feel like their business is an inconvenience. That’s exactly how I felt here.

We won’t be back. If this is representative of how customers are treated, I genuinely don’t see how this place expects to keep people coming through the door long-term.

The food is outstanding – every dish we tried was prepared to perfection with generous portions and authentic flavors. And the beer selection? Delicious! We visited for my husband’s Birthday and we were in great hands! Whether you’re in the mood for a proper pint or trying something new, they’ve got you covered.

What really sets this place apart is the amazing service. Clyde, the British owner, has created something truly special here. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. Combined with the cozy ambiance, it’s the perfect spot for everything from a casual dinner to celebrating special occasions.
