I inquired with the lady at the counter if I could wash my hands, as they were sticky from ice cream. Her response was curt and impolite, and she did not provide directions to the restroom nearby. Her tone suggested that my request was an inconvenience to her. It is important for customer service representatives to respond politely to inquiries. I hope that shop owners will train their employees to be more courteous. I will not be returning to this shop or recommending it to others.

Visited this lovely store recently 22/06/2026. They have a wonderful selection of kitchen ware, candles, clothes and so much more. I highly recommend a visit to the Victorian village of Ferndale and a stop in at the Farmers Daughter. You’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from the staff.I love The Farmer’s Daughter! Coffee, treats, local dairy products, candles, clothes, and so much more other items.

Great place in Ferndale! Cozy atmosphere, fresh and tasty food, and an excellent cappuccino. Friendly service and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the charm of this beautiful Victorian town. Definitely recommend!

Such a delightful store! I enjoyed their homemade ice cream made from their A2 Cream! Absolutely Delicious! ❤️
