We made a last minute decision to stay overnight in mount shasta. We have stayed several times in money different motels. Despite some of the reviews we took the chance. The owner is an extremely traditional Asian man. So I could understand why some found him rude. He’s not, it’s just his way. The rooms were old and run down. The smoke detector was taken down and so there was non in the room. The paint was cracked everywhere. The shower drain was extremely old and rusted with black fun stuff around it. There was something stuck in the bathroom sink. The little nightstand table that has the only outlets on it didn’t work so we used our camping lantern and the bathroom light. We only need to make it one night and we try to roll with the adventure. We rolled until my wife sat up in bed and there was a whole bug on her pillow next to her face. That was it. We will never go back. Skip this one if you can.

They have two names for this motel because they have such bad reviews. It’s a horrible place to stay. There was a giant dead bug on the floor when I went in the floors were dirty, not swept. I had to go get towels from the front desk because they didn’t have any in the room they overcharged me $100 on my room had to refund it. I was bitten up by fleas had 10 bites giant welts on my legs fleas or bedbugs I’m not sure which. This was for work my dispatcher booked me in the same room the next night coming back and I told him I wouldn’t stay there and they would not refund the money. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

Check in was easy, my room was updated and clean. Will definitely be coming back to stay here for ski season!

The older manager was really rude and gave us a room with 2 beds in which we paid for but he said that we had to pay extra for the second bed. Towels and bedding were both unclean as the towels had red stuff on them and the bedding had dark marks on them. Also mentioned to call the police when we mentioned all of that to him. Completely unacceptable and will not be staying here again. Oh and as we were leaving he asked my family for marijuana. Really unusual place with unusual people

I cannot imagine anyone giving this place a 5 star rating. At best, I give it a two star because I did have one motel that was worse. This motel is from the 50’s. You cannot put lipstick on a pig, and this place should be torn down and rebuilt. The furniture is old, the room is small. Had to put suitcase at side of bed. No shelves in bathroom other than the toilet seat. Internet is minimal. There is a garage for the owners that they leave the door open so all can see the dirt and mess. And, it was $270 per night. Albeit a weekend.
