Not at all what we expected after throughout going through reviews, yelp, fb, etc. my son didn’t even want to play in the sand.
The Glass beach on the other hand was much better with clean sides and pathways on the trail(s), beach/water access, and cleaner walk ways. Along with easy comprehension of where to play in the water and where to scavenge.
Outside of the can/cannot signs, not much 1st response for beach season on duty or there at all.

Accessible trail and very clean accessible porta-potty. Nice picnic table, deer and crows wander through all morning. Standard picnic table with accessible parking spots.

Quiet reclusive beach for your enjoyment
You’ll run across the occasional horseback river
Littered by the waves and shores you’ll see Sand dollars, jelly blobs, empty mussel shells and dead crab shells
You’ll also see seagulls and the endangered plovers scavenging for food.
Great place for walking along the shore

Who does like a quiet beach! Not many people there but a couple taking their horses for a walk on a near by trail. It’s a nice shallow sandy beach that you don’t have to worry about little ones as much. We found a sand dollar, many sea urchins, crabs of all sorts, and starfishes. We really enjoyed ourselves.
