We popped in here for Father’s Day, and it was such a great experience! The restaurant looked incredibly festive,they decorated the spacious and pleasant atmosphere beautifully with multi-color flags and balloons.
​The ordering setup is great: you order at the counter, get a number for your table, and the warm and welcoming staff brings everything out to you. Plus, the food came out quite fast!
​We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos, which came with generous, flavorful fillings. The burritos with fish were also fantastic, but the absolute star of the show was the ceviche salad. It was easily the best and incredibly refreshing! We also loved checking out their great salsa bar.
​Most importantly, Dad was happy and absolutely loved it. We are so glad we stopped by and will happily return the next time we’re in Half Moon Bay!

Save yourself the disappointment.
First impressions, the restaurant is actually quite beautiful and the aroma from the parking lot gives you high hopes…
Unfortunately the service we received was lackluster. The first warning sign was how fast the food hit the table after the order was placed, when I think authentic I think made to order, fresh, and FLAVORFUL.
For starters the ceviche tostadas.. taste like a garbage disposal. Presentation unappealing, FILLED with water ,a what look to be made with imitation crab, with an unforgettable foul taste. One bite , spit out and untouched not once did they notice or even care to come and ask how things were.
Don’t be fooled by the multiple recent 5 star reviews… or do an update with your experience so the next person the travel in town isn’t duped.

If you are looking for a delicious Mexican restaurant in Half Moon Bay, look no further! The food is authentic and very tasty! We ordered chorizo, asada, and carnitas tacos, a flauta plate and a super burrito a la Diablo with buche. Each item was sooooo good! The tacos were absolutely loaded with meat and the meat tasted fresh like it was just cooked! The flautas were super crispy and the chicken inside was juicy, not dry. The lettuce was crisp and fresh as well. The beans and rice were also good! The highlight was the burrito a la diabla because the sauce was very tasty. Not too spicy and had a whole lot of flavor!! The buche was very good!! Loved the food!

Further, there is a chips and salsa bar that is unlimited. The chips are not the best but they definitely are good to snack on with some pico and salsa!

You order at the register and then go find a seat and a server walks around calling out the number until they find you and bring your food to you.

They have high chairs.
