We went there over the weekend. Carlos brought us guacamole and chips while we waited for our food. The salsas were amazing and the asada taco was my favorite compared to the cabeza and al pastor.

We had decent tijuana style tacos and tortas, adobada was tasty and crunchy, and those carne asada tacos are true to itself. Restaurant is a hidden gem.
Pros:
-You want to have tacos that taste similar to South of the border? Come here you won’t regret it.
-Plenty of seating area as well as street parking.
Cons: prices are elevated sub 15 dollar burritos although prices march its location (downtown SD).

Better than even the al pastor tacos I’ve had in Mexico City! Best ones I’ve ever had and I’ve had tacos at probably 100 places. If you like them greasy tacos that can give you a heart attack this is the place! Go go go

Is this place good? YES!!!
Is this place better than Tacos el Gordo? Not yet!!!
The location is great, right in the middle of nite life, sports center and city life.
The locations makes it a little hard to get to it so if you dont want to pay the parking fees, take the train or park on weekends since its free.
To be fair we got there right at opening time so the staff was barely prepping and getting the grills and troppo hot and ready.
The pastor and asada were good. The meat was fresh enough and the flavors are there.
Their prices are OK considering its San Diego. Their tacos are standard size but they are freshly made tortillas Amarillo.
Their salsas were great but their jalapeños en vinagre are BOMB!!!
If you prefer the avocado sauce on the side make sure to ask for that because they will make the tortilla aguada real quick.
The staff are very friendly and provide good service.
Next time you’re in town and don’t want to wait in long lines to get some al pastor tacos, check’em out!!

Authentic little taco joint with outdoor seating and some indoor. Service was a bit slow, but everything was made fresh and hot off the grill so was worth waiting for. I had the Al pastor, birria, and carnitas tacos. Carnitas was solid, but the Al pastor and birria we downright phenomenal. And a whole bar of hot sauces and toppings to boot. Fantastic little fast casual joint, and fairly reasonably priced for how good it is.
