Went to lunch on taco Tuesday 2 weeks ago and it was great. We went today for dinner and I was very disappointed. Barley any meat. We ordered 7 tacos to go, we got lettuce and tomatoes enough to eat for 2 two tacos. Very disappointed. Won’t be going back. They are not consistent with the menu.
First, let me state that I am a retired gourmet chef. I just visited this restaurant for the first time over mother’s Day weekend. The place was jam packed out in the service was fantastic. Unfortunately The most important thing, The food was terrible!! I ordered the Chile rellenos with rice and beans to go. The breading on the Chile was falling off So it was basically just a chile stuffed with cheese and no sauce on. The rice and beans weren’t the greatest either and everything was too salty and swimming in fat!! This is the third Mexican restaurant that I have tried in. Woodland and none of you have pleased my taste buds. I have a fantastic recipe For chile Rellenos, also for rice and beans. It would just be nice to go to a Mexican restaurant that can cook just as good as me if not better. I will continue to try every Mexican restaurant in town and hopefully find one that I can give five stars to. To the chef, please learn how to cook. I don’t mean to be rude and I hate giving bad reviews. I will not return to this restaurant.
I have come to this place several times and it never disappoints. My mom tried the birria and absolutely loved it. I had some tacos and they were straight-up bomb dot com. Always a great experience.
