I went for the first time today. I got asada, chicken and shrimp tacos. I really liked the shrimp tacos I think they were better than the asada and chicken. I feel like the asada and chicken could use a little bit more flavor or seasoning. They have a salsa bar with all your salsas. The salsas were good which made the tacos more flavorful. Also had a michelada which was good. The bar is nice and the atmosphere is overall clean and nice with Spanish music. The staff is friendly. I would recommend the shrimp tacos, no need to add salsa they’re good how they make them just a dash of lime.

I’ve only started coming here 2 weeks ago and have already eaten here 4 times. I’ve only had the burritos but I’ll assume tacos are even better. The burrito has the right amount of meat, rice and beans. Tortilla is very buttery, toasted and beans are creamy. The meat is cooked on the charcoal grill which gives it a great flavor. A hidden gem in Bakersfield. Not a place you’ll hang for hours but a cold beer and good meal why not! Clean and nice staff.

What an awesome addition to downtown Bakersfield! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the decor is modern, stylish, and inviting. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a great dining experience.

The food was outstanding, and the handmade tortillas really set the tacos apart. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients.

One of my favorite parts was the salsa bar, which features a variety of fresh, house-made salsas that are made daily. It’s a great touch that lets you customize your meal and try something new each visit.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality tacos in Bakersfield, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend giving it a try!

I’ve been here twice now, so I wanted to give it a fair chance. Overall, I’d say it’s an average taco spot. The tacos were decent, but a little expensive for what you get. The burrito was pretty bland—I ended up adding several packets of salt just to give it some flavor. On my second visit, they were out of most of the salsas, two of the meat options, and even the French fries. I could understand that during a soft opening, but this was after their grand opening. My first visit, I was seated near the restroom, and there was an unpleasant odor in that area. On my second visit, the staff started putting chairs on the tables and packing up about 30 minutes before closing, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming and like customers were being rushed out. The restaurant is in a great downtown location, and I’m always happy to see new businesses investing in downtown Bakersfield. I hope they work through these issues because the place has potential. Right now, though, I found it to be an average experience with food that could use more flavor and better consistency.

Downtown needs more easy and fast restaurants and this place fits the bill. The decor is very nice, they have beer taps (though I’m not sure if they’re functional yet), and a nice outdoor patio. I’ve only had the Cali burrito but it was great and came with large sides of salsa and guac. Definitely recommend everyone to try this place. Keep downtown bakersfield alive!
