Got meat Saturday evening 10.99 worth of asada and the next day when I went to cook it, it smelt so bad of rotten meat stunk up the fridge and house. I threw it away cause by the time I called it was in dumpster. They said to exchange or refund id have to bring it in. I live in Willits I told them they said it’s policy. I said so you want me to grab it from dumpster, put the smelling rotting meat in my car with a baby and drive to Ukiah to exchange it? They said yes. I called next day for manager he said I could have put in freezer. My freezer is full I had no room. So I gave him my receipt number after finding it and he still said they can’t do anything. So idk I won’t be going back. It’s a shame they always were nice but the policy of returning the smelling rotten meat is kind of weird but whatever please careful when buying meat there.

The best Al pastor I’ve had in California. Been visiting here off and on during road trips for twenty years. Great home made tortillas right in front of you. Always popular for decades for a reason!

What makes this place stand out are the handmade tortillas made fresh to order. Pay at the checkout and then go outside and collect the freshest tortillas you’ve ever had. Other than that the market itself is pretty standard.

Tacos are 5$ each. You have to pay for them before ordering inside another building but they are frequently out of ingredients (meats, guacamole, etc), which you only find out about after playing. Older lady who cooks the food is very friendly but younger women who cook and tend the cash register are extremely rude. Decent food but frankly not worth it.

I only come through Ukiah once a year, and I’ve made this place a tradition. It is one of the better tacos in the area. I was disappointed that the prices have gone up a little, but the quality is still here.
