The room was ok, a bit dirty, but overall ok. The carpet was filthy but wasn’t noticeable until a person looks at the bottom of their socks.
Around 3 in the morning, someone was banging on one of the room doors. After a while the banging subsided. But the worst and most unfair incident occurred with the billing. I spilled some orange juice that the hotel provided on the bathroom counter. I cleaned up the spill with a towel. Later, after we checked out, a $100 dollar charge was added to my credit card for the “3” towels. We called the hotel and they said the towels were ruined by the orange juice. We explained it was 1 towel and orange juice is water soluble, it will come out in the laundry. They disagreed and wouldn’t remove the charge. They also claimed the other two towels had dark marks– if they did, it was because they were wet after taking a shower and got dirty by laying on their dirty floor. They said we signed a contract stating we would be charged for any damage and I guess dirty towels are considered damage. We will never stay there again. I’m still completely shocked they would actually charge their customers this way. Bottom line, pass this one up. Wish we had.
I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and updated. Adam at the front desk was very nice and recommended good spots to eat and hangout.
The only problem was the environment off property. (Out of Super 8 control) Lots of homeless people wandering and yelling. I was cautious walking at night, but no big issues otherwise.
The beds are too soft. And you hear the traffic driving by all night. The room was heavily scented from cleaning products which was hard on me. Maybe it wouldn’t be as loud if I had a room facing away from the street. Overall, I would probably stay here again if I could get a different room.
Located near the center of town so quite a few street people around. We had to park overnight on the street because the lot was full but had no problems. The young man at check in was very helpful. The room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated.
I was surprised at the price asked for the room. It was twice the indicated price on Google maps. I recently paid $50 more for a room in downtown Carmel.
Very nice hotel. The person that helped us on 06/15 and 16th was super duper nice and very professional at his job. He was amazingly friendly! The room is clean and a good size. The water pressure is good in the shower too. The bed size is a little smaller than i imagined but still big and comfortable enough for two people. And right next to a Dutch Bros haha
