Great campground though the maintenance of the bathrooms was minimal when we were there for a weekend. The river is gorgeous with a deep swimming hole.

I stopped on a whim and am extremely glad I did. The staff was very nice and very friendly, the sites are huge and clean. There are big open spaces and great hikes. I came during the blue-green algae bloom so no swimming for me or the dog, but it was still absolutely beautiful. I’ll definitely be back.

Quickly stopped by here while driving down the 101 and was surprised by just how beautiful the area is. There’s quite a bit offered here, including three fairly large campgrounds, some hiking trails, and swimming in the river that runs through the area. I would highly recommend at least stopping by and spending some of the day here if you’re not wanting to stay longer to camp.
